The Sick Fix
Indie Punk Band
Formed this year, The Sick Fix are an indie/garage punk band playing their own rock'n'roll to the masses.
As lead singer Leo Mitchell says, The Sick Fix are the best band you haven't heard yet. Backed up by drummer Ted Wright, Bassist Oliver Jacques and Rhythm guitarist Alfie Radford, their own personal influences intertwine to give a sound that can be likened to the illegitimate offspring of The Libertines and The Smiths, dead boys and the chats whilst also being like nothing you have heard for a long, long while - if at all.
All still at school Year 11 at schools in Manchester, their loud and brash sound is gaining likes by the hour, and their song, LOVERS, is a great example of their onstage sound: exciting and anthemic.
And there is so much more to come. Future recordings are planned at the end of August, and gigs are being hunted as we speak in order to hone their stage craft - or merely to give their charismatic front man, Leo, a chance to expend some energy.
Their demos are a great introduction to them.
