Summer Lee Carlson is an American expat singer/songwriter currently living in Cambodia.

Her latest project is a collaboration with UK expat producer Mute Speaker and a *Live Beats* inspired fusion of R&B, Soul, Blues, Funk & Jazzy Hip Hop, with a range of playful and thought-provoking themes and lyrics.

She is heavily influenced by songwriters like Leonard Cohen and Janis Ian along with powerful female vocalists like Tina Turner, Barbara Streisand and Judy Garland.

Her debut single, *Don’t Wanna Run*, released January of 2023. Her debut album, *False Notes*, (an international collaboration) released May 3rd, 2024. She has also collaborated with a number of musicians in a range of styles from Trip Hop to Pop to EDM, including a latest venture in EDM with talented turntablist & former Las Vegas *Club Rio* resident, DJ SKILZ.

A new album, with producer Mute Speaker, will begin launching in a waterfall release, with the first 30's jazz & swing influenced song, *Respectable People*, June 28th 2024. They are also currently performing these songs live around Cambodia.
