Saskia Searle
Pop Punk Artist
I’m Saskia Searle; hailing from the small town of Belper, Derbyshire. I thrive to make music surrounding mental health as I fight back the past feelings of “never being remembered”. I perform with powerful vocals and acoustic guitar with the occasional appearance of my loop pedal. My genre is an eclectic mix of soft rock, pop punk, and alternative.
In 2017, I spent 2 weeks in LA at the renowned LA iPOP, an international presentation of performers, which lead me to perform during a banquet at the iconic Millennium Hotel where most notably the Oscars are held. As well as this, I won a collection of awards including Gold for “Best Singer”, “Promising Actor Of The Year” and “Original Commercial”.
Back on my own soil, in 2017-2018, I was also a finalist in the UK’s renowned Open Mic UK and Teen Star and I’ve performed my original songs on BBC Radio Derby as well as Y NOT Festival, Off The Tracks, Radfest, Matlockbath, Whitby Goth Weekend, Phoenix Alternative Festival and Belper Games.
My first EP released in 2019 under “From Depth to Surface” including my famous song (with my best friend C Hayes) “This is for the broken”. In 2022, i worked hard on creating new music for my EP “holding my breath” that has been mixed and mastered by Cozy studios (SayWeCanFly A.K.A Braden Barrie).
This year (2024), I’ve released my single “Autopilot” which is a pop punkified banger!
I’m back in the studio by February and back performing gigs around Derby! Loads of new original music on the way for 2024!
