​Formed in the aftermath of the wilderness years that we call the pandemic, REMAIN BLANK spent 2 years as a close bunch of school-leaver Covid-numbed kids, trying to make something happen and express what it felt like being an almost forgotten generation - while the world focused on other stuff, namely vaccinations and commerce. Blank by name, blank by nature.

As a result, at 18 years old the 4 piece are about to unleash a barrel-load of music this year, a voice for their generation, the post Covid generation, the kids that were schooled online, then cast back out into the world again to pick up the pieces and become social beings again...just like that.

After 24 months holed up in a rehearsal room with plenty to say, plenty of lost youth to make up for and plenty of raw emotion to bring to the surface, a new breed of Northern bands (there are others - ‘Hungry’ and ‘Dantzic’ to name a few) are about to emerge. In times of arty, public school ‘au fait of the day’ type major label signings telling us that we are supposedly all tired of worrying about the cost of living crisis and post punk street level drama REMAIN BLANK beg to differ as they deliver their own slant on proceedings.
