Hi I'm Lehi (Pronounced Lee-Hi) I'm 24-years-old, I'm a solo artist from Hartlepool, Northeast England, and I write, play, record, and produce my own music.

 

Being encompassed in music as a child, my formative years were spent writing music and playing guitar in a local band.

 

In 2015 I discovered a passion for recording music, spending countless hours in my college music studio in Hartlepool.

 

In 2017 my school friend and I formed a band called THE EUTONY, releasing three fabulous guitar focused singles.

 

I then attended Leeds Beckett University studying music production, gradating in 2021 with a First Class degree.

 

After years of being in bands, performing around the Northeast and developing my craft, in 2023, I decided I was ready to be a solo artist.

 

I have an eclectic taste in music, artists such as The 1975, Valley, MUNA, The Lighthouse Family and The Blue Nile inspired my own music, with a focus on vocal production and luscious 80’s synths drowned in chorus. I would describe my sound as Indie-pop.

 

I hope that my musical journey will explore different genres to create a soundtrack to my life.

 

My debut single, 'I Think I’m Gonna Go Crazy,' impressed the music community, and it featured on over forty radio stations worldwide. It was played by John Kennedy on Radio X and BBC Introducing twice. I was made the Unsigned Artist and Record of the Week on two radio stations including the O.F.I Monday Radio Show and my debut single made No.1 on the IT IS NOW RADIO TOP 20 and KB Radio Canada Indie TOP 40.

 

I released my second single entitled, ‘Shut the Door’ on January 26th, 2024. John Kennedy made it an X-Posure Hot One which I was absolutely honoured by and was again played on BBC Introducing. 

 

I'm excited to be writing more songs this year with the hope of releasing an EP at the back end of 2024 with the plan being to then start playing them live.
