Lara Elise Grant is a Derby based singer/songwriter, who takes inspiration from many artists, including Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish and Arlo Parks. Her music has a soft and melancholic sound which is perfectly accompanied by her deep and emotional lyrics where she delves into the feelings of getting older, finding herself and losing people.

 

She has played many gigs since she first began performing in 2021 at the age of 15. Starting out by playing open mics, Lara has since gone on to play at venues such as Rough Trade Nottingham, Metronome, Rescue Rooms and The Bodega. More recently, she has played at Dot To Dot Festival 2023, Hockley Hustle 2023 and Beat The Streets 2024.

 

For those who are looking to check out her music, you’ll be excited to know that she will be releasing a few singles, followed by an EP, in 2024. What you can expect from this EP is a collection of songs with angelic vocals and heartfelt lyrics that will take you through a range of emotions.
