Jamie Joseph is an upcoming 34-year-old soul singer and songwriter from the Midlands, UK. Citing the influences of Motown and Stax Soul, Jamie brings a refreshing youthful twist to his music. Introduced to a diverse range by his music-loving dad, the sounds of Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye were forever being played whilst he was growing up.

His music and song writing has been inspired from growing up in a black working class area of Derby. His music is a way for him to talk about the emotions and situations we all face in life. For Jamie it’s more important for his audience to relate to his messages and stories, than for him to have pop success.

Jamie has a unique and instantly recognizable singing voice different to the commonly heard manufactured tuned pop voice of today. In Jamie’s performance the imperfections are what give his vocals a natural soul feel.

The last 15 years has seen Jamie signed to Sony RCA, being sent around the world to work with many inspiring names in the I dustry like, Dianne Warren, Midi Mafia, Mark Batson and more.

Music has been in multiple films including UK Box Office hit,  Botherhood third of the Hood Movies Trilogy, Finding your Feet with Imelda Staunton and The Anomaly.
