Greebo
Indie Rock Band
Greebo was created in 2020, fuelled by an unending passion for music. The band originated as a 3-piece, writing original music out of the lead singer’s caravan, which they continue to use for the same purpose today. Their first notable success was their 2021 single “Love a Nutter” debuting on BBC Essex. Since then, every following release has also featured prominently on BBC Essex.
Following the addition of a new bass player and another guitarist/keys player, the band saw its music breakthrough onto national radio with the release of “Mindgames + Sad Sunday”, both being featured on BBC Radio 1.
Live shows have taken them further afield into London and Brighton as well as a hometown show at the iconic Colchester Arts Centre to a crowd of 300. The quality of the music continues to increase with every release, and they have no intention of slowing down.
Greebo consists of Ash Condon, Matt Solomon, Harry Munson and Charlie Masterson. The 2023 additions of Munson and Masterson have shot the band in a totally different direction, angled more towards synth-rock full of influence from the 1980s, but still built on the classic Greebo DNA of highly distorted guitars and heavy drums.
