Camens
Indie Rock Band
Hailing from a somewhat forgotten northern town, as so many of the best do, Camens were born out of long nights in freezing cold practice rooms. Struggling to find time away from the daily grind to be creative, they channelled their frustrations into their music. Over the past few years, Camens have captured the attention of audiences across the UK and beyond with their unerring live shows and relatable lyrics, in a constant pursuit of both community and escapism.
Having set up a Patreon during lockdown to remain connected to their fans, the band saw an overwhelming outpouring of love and support. This brought about not just the money, but also reaffirmed the real love and desire for more new music from an unwavering fanbase. Much of 2023 was spent locked in the studio alongside trusted producer Andy Gannon (The Courteeners, Glass Caves, The Hara), where over half of the album was born.
